Coastal Design by Christine

A Legacy of Timeless Elegance

When Christine Estep first visited Jupiter and Palm Beach three years ago to work with design clients, she experienced something that would reshape her professional journey – an immediate connection to the area's coastal charm that felt like coming home. That connection was so powerful that in 2023, she decided to split her time between Florida and Virginia, bringing her renowned design expertise to more South Florida homes.

For a quarter century, Christine has been transforming spaces with her exceptional eye for color, fabrics, and interior design. Her journey in the design world has been marked by an unwavering commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, earning her recognition as one of Virginia's Leading Ladies of Business early in her career. This prestigious acknowledgment came just ten years after she began her design journey, a testament to her natural talent and dedication to her craft.

"I have always felt at peace near the water," Christine reflects, "and I've translated that peaceful feeling into my design work for clients along the eastern seaboard." This connection to coastal living isn't just professional – it's deeply personal, shaped by years of cherished family vacations with her sons, Jack and Wilson, at various oceanfront destinations. Her own experiences creating memories in her Coastal home in the Carolinas have influenced her approach to design, understanding that a well-designed space becomes the backdrop for life's most precious moments.

Over the past decade, Christine has expanded her portfolio beyond residential and high-end commercial projects, establishing a strong presence in the transitional and modern design arena. She seamlessly adapts to the style and aesthetic her clients envision, whether it's coastal elegance or minimal, monochromatic design that has resonated with the evolving tastes of Southern Floridians. "Layering rich textures, monochromatic tones, sheer elements, and curved, organic forms have defined a new modern aesthetic that many Floridians are embracing to transform their spaces," Christine says. Her work has garnered national recognition, with features in Southern Living, Virginia Living, and Luxury Home magazines, highlighting her talent for crafting spaces that are both sophisticated and inviting. Whether designing an oceanfront retreat or a high-end commercial space, her journey to Southern Florida has deepened her appreciation for coastal-front architecture and modern classics—an aesthetic that continues to gain popularity.

"Understanding a client's vision is essential," Christine explains. "Their style and aesthetic guide every step of the process, from concept to completion." This client-centered approach extends beyond mere aesthetics – Christine is known for her exceptional project management skills, ensuring clear communication and attention to detail throughout every phase of the design process.

When not transforming homes, Christine divides her time between her many passions. You might find her gardening, enjoying time near the ocean, or cheering on her youngest son at his college baseball games, often with her beloved 10-year-old Cockapoo, Tank, by her side. She's also deeply committed to giving back to the community, particularly through her work with Hannah's Home of South Florida, which helps homeless, pregnant women overcome adversity and find hope. Her support extends to causes related to youth and animal welfare.

For those looking to transform their home into a peaceful sanctuary that reflects their personal style, Christine brings both expertise and understanding to each project. Her ability to blend sophisticated design of a well-curated home makes her a natural fit for our tranquil community.
