Every time Mother's Day rolls around, our family (except for my mom) has these conversations that go, "Hey, what should we get for mom this year?" and typically, my dad says in reply, "I don't know!" These conversations repeat themselves until one day, we find a gift idea. Each year, my mom adores the gift we give her, but we've figured out that there's something she loves even more. She loves spending time with us more than anything we could buy at the store. This makes her such an amazing mom - she enjoys all the time we've all spent together and cares so much about our family. Each time we have days off school, she tells us at the end of the day, "You know, I've really loved having you guys around today!" and hugs us all. Or, if someone is having a bad day, she cheers us up with her positive attitude and words of encouragement. She knows exactly how to make all of us feel so good.
