Meet The Davisson Family

Busy Kids, Big Traditions & A Whole Lot of Neighborhood Love

From Bethesda Beginnings to Life in the Park

Since February 2022, Christina Jobe Davisson and her two sons, Roger (8) and Thomas (4), have called Ansley Park home. Originally from Bethesda, Maryland, Christina attended Our Lady of Good Counsel High School before heading south to Clemson University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing.

While at Clemson, she immersed herself in campus life through Kappa Kappa Gamma, student organizations, community service, and played both club lacrosse and field hockey. A memorable study-abroad semester in Barcelona added to her global perspective. After college, Christina’s career took her from Costa Mesa, California, to Atlanta in 2012, with a six-month stint in Melbourne, Australia supporting the Asia-Pacific region.

Adding to their family story, Christina’s mother, MaryAnn Jobe—lovingly known as “Yiayia”—made a big move of her own. After spending her entire life in Maryland, she relocated to Ansley Park two years ago to be closer to her family. Christina shares that it has been incredibly special to see her mom embraced by such a welcoming neighborhood, one that celebrates community and supports the arts.

Tech-Savvy and Loving It

Today, Christina is thrilled to have joined Finastra as an Expert Technical Program Manager, working directly with the Technology Chief of Staff at this global leader in financial services software and cloud solutions.

Two Kids, Countless Activities

Roger, a second grader at Lovett, is full of energy—swimming with the Ansley Golf Club Sharks, swinging on the golf course, playing tennis, football, basketball, and lacrosse, and still finding time for piano.

Thomas, a pre-K student at Cathedral Preschool, is right behind him. He swims for the Sharks, kicks the ball at PRUMC soccer, practices karate, dabbles in golf and tennis, and has already started piano.

Faith at the Heart

Family traditions are deeply rooted in their Greek Orthodox faith. As members of the Cathedral of the Annunciation, the Davissons especially treasure Orthodox Easter—the midnight service, red-dyed eggs, and the sense of continuity across generations.

Tigers, Travel & Time Together

The Davissons love to get away—skiing in Deer Valley, Utah, soaking up summer sun in Hilton Head and Sea Island, reconnecting with family and history in Washington, DC, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers in Death Valley.

Around Atlanta, their favorites include Ansley Park’s neighborhood parks, the Ansley Golf Club, and the High Museum.

Giving Back, Staying Involved

Christina believes in community service, whether volunteering in her children’s classrooms and school library, or serving through the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society, dedicated to charity and outreach. The family also supports Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Breakthrough Atlanta, and neighborhood traditions like Ansley Arts in the Park. Christina rounds it out with ALTA tennis and pickleball. Why

They Love It Here

For the Davissons, Ansley Park is about more than just a place to live—it’s a place to belong. Favorite memories are tied to simple joys: neighbors gathering, kids playing, and a true sense of connection that makes every day feel like home.
