Living life with Cece

Say hello to CeeCee! Cecilia (CeeCee for short) is an adult Miniature Schnauzer who is as sweet as can be. Her exact age was unknown when she was adopted during Wag-o-ween 2020, so her pet parents created a Birthday for her which they celebrate every October. Ashly and Daniel were not looking for a pup to adopt, as they were just out doing some shopping. When Daniel spotted CeeCee in a crate at an adoption table, however, they fell in love with her immediately and decided to take her home!
CeeCee was completely blind so Ashly and Daniel got her an appointment with Dr. Pinot at the Animal Eye Clinic, and after a surgery to remove the cataracts, CeeCee was able to see! Ashly says, “One of our favorite memories was the day we picked her up after her cataract surgery. Watching her rediscover the world with clear eyes—curiously exploring everything around her—was pure and beautiful!” She has since lost sight again in one eye, but it doesn’t stop her from living her best life.
Everyone in the family adores CeeCee and has a loving home here in Ardsley. She also gets to spend a few months out of the year enjoying the college life at UGA with her human brother, Jason. She enjoys exploring the late night bar scene from the comfort of her stroller and she is very popular with students and everyone she meets.
CeeCee is an expert snuggler and she is especially cuddly during thunderstorms when she needs extra attention. She is also a professional at napping and is known for taking extremely long naps in the sun or on mom and dad’s bed. She loves any soft treat but she is not very fond of typical pet toys because she prefers the company of humans. She loves going for walks as well as kicking back and relaxing in her stroller and hanging out in the parks or at her favorite bar, Moodrights where she can be one of the gang.
