A Legacy That Flows Through Generations

How Four Generations Have Kept Savannah's Water Running Since 1968

The Reed Family

Tonya Flanders grew up being part of the Henry Plumbing Company operations. Todd Reed was stationed at Hunter Army Airfield in the Ranger Battalion when he met Tonya. The rest is history, and they were married in 1988. Their son, Tanner, their only son, met Meghan on River Street, and five years later, they married.

Third-generation plumbing contractors Tonya and Todd Reed hail from a long line that now includes fourth-generation contractors Tanner and Meghan Reed. In 1994, Todd assumed the Corporation's Vice President position, and Tonya became the Corporate Secretary. Today, Todd and Tonya continue operations of the Corporation to continue the legacy and protect the value of the Henry Plumbing Company name established so many years ago in the Savannah community.

The leadership skills acquired in military service helped Todd and Tanner become talented business leaders. Meghan is a graduate of UGA with a degree in Economics and the former Armstrong Atlantic State University with a degree in Nursing. She has been an asset to the business, from customer service to payroll management, which ensures the economic future of Henry Plumbing. Tonya grew up in the industry, from riding with her dad on the backhoe tractor to leading Henry Plumbing into 2025 with more technicians and vans on the road than in the history of the business.

In 2023, Henry Plumbing was awarded the SBA Family Owned Business winner for the State of Georgia. This is one of the proudest awards the business has received to date.

Todd and Tonya live on Tybee Island and enjoy being beach bums after work hours. They are members of Savannah Golf Club, where Todd enjoys swinging the clubs. Thor and Lanca are Todd and Tonya's fur babies and serve as security at Henry Plumbing. They punch in on the daily clock. Thor is also the company mascot and expects many treats for using his famous insignia, which adorns all the company vans and trucks.

Tanner and Meghan enjoy the Freedom Boat Club and anxiously wait until it is warm enough to set sail again. They are also looking for a new home on Wilmington Island.  They have two Greyhound rescues, Chewsy and Willie, who were adopted from Jacksonville racetracks. They occasionally serve as backup security at Henry Plumbing. Currently, Tanner and Meghan live in the Coffee Bluff area.

The Reed families appreciate the homeowners of Long Point Subdivision. As the original plumbing contractors for many of the site-built homes, they are now servicing the homes that make up their history.

Todd, Tonya, Tanner, and Meghan enjoy educating customers on the necessity of sanitary water and waste systems in their homes. Henry Plumbing is the preferred installer for many brands, such as Rinnai, AO Smith, and Bradford White, and is a partner with ATL Gas.

To kick off a brand new year, they are excited to offer monthly specials designed to help customers make critical plumbing decisions at more affordable rates. They aim to empower clients with knowledge about potential plumbing issues to keep their homes and businesses running smoothly. They urge the community to stay connected with social media or direct inquiries for updates on Henry Plumbing Company specials and valuable plumbing tips to save time and money.

Testimonials:

– 5 stars
"This was a great experience from start to finish! Unlike the other service providers, Henry Plumbing did not charge hidden prices or play games. The tech was prompt, clean, and friendly. I will use Henry Plumbing from here on out." - T Fraizer

"The technician showed up at the time, promised, quickly diagnosed the problem and corrected the issue. They were knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, it was a great repair experience." Steven P., Savannah

"The Henry plumbing technicians sent out to my home to replace the fill and flush valve in my 17-year-old Kohler toilet did a fantastic job. They had all the parts and tools they needed to complete the job. They were very careful not to scratch or soil the wooden floors as they removed the toilet tank and replaced the internals. They left the bathroom cleaner than they found it, and the repair took care of the constant water flow in the tank."

“The two gentlemen from Henry Plumbing who arrived showed up on time, were cordial, efficient & thorough in diagnosing my plumbing issue. They were very knowledgeable, and I would recommend them without hesitation!"
