Cooking Up Memories: The Prescott Family’s Vintage-Inspired Life in Ardsley Park

Step into the Prescott family’s Ardsley Park home, and you might feel like you've been transported into a charming, vintage kitchen—a place where nostalgia meets modern-day adventures, and every corner tells a story. Becky and Jamie Prescott, along with their 11-year-old daughter, Annalice, have been stirring up a life full of love, adventure, and creativity since moving to the neighborhood in 2008.
“We love to travel whenever possible,” Becky says with a warm smile. “Jamie has been all over the world for work, and we’ve visited China and Italy together. We also travel to Guatemala often to volunteer with my father’s medical mission work.” Their love for exploration is only rivaled by their love for home—one filled with retro charm, family traditions, and the perfect balance of old and new.
A Recipe for Passionate Living
Both Becky and Jamie attended SCAD, and their creative backgrounds shine through in everything they do. Jamie, a cinematographer and photographer, is an avid cyclist who bikes over 75 miles per week. Meanwhile, Becky channels her love for vintage aesthetics into her business, Alice and Pearl, a retro and vintage kitchen accessories brand that pays homage to a bygone era. When she’s not at her craft table designing her latest piece, she’s on the softball field, coaching Annalice’s team.
Their home is a reflection of their eclectic tastes—filled with vintage furniture, colorful kitchenware, and a touch of mid-century charm. And when the holidays roll around, Becky’s passion for vintage decor takes center stage. “I LOVE to drag out all of my vintage Christmas decorations and deck out the entire house,” she says enthusiastically.
A Dash of Adventure
The Prescott family isn’t just about nostalgia; they’re always ready for their next adventure. Their love for the outdoors extends to their beloved retro camper, Frieda, which they take out for camping trips whenever they can. Whether it's a weekend in the woods or a spontaneous getaway, their travels are a mix of old-fashioned road trip fun and new discoveries.
When they’re home in Savannah, you’ll likely find them enjoying the city’s vibrant restaurant scene, attending live music concerts, or spending the day at the beach. With so much to explore, they make the most of everything the city has to offer.
Blending the Past with the Present
The Prescotts have mastered the art of blending old-school charm with modern-day adventure, making their life in Ardsley Park as vibrant as a retro diner menu. From vintage kitchen treasures to road trips in Frieda, every moment is savored, every memory carefully crafted like a cherished family recipe.
One thing is certain—whether they’re traveling the world or gathered around their kitchen table, the Prescott family is living life with joie de vivre—and a dash of retro flair.
