Delta Circle Lights Up the Ardsley Park Fall Festival
This October, Ardsley Park residents were treated to a dynamic live performance by Delta Circle at the neighborhood Fall Festival. This powerhouse group has quickly gained attention as one of the hardest-working bands in the Low Country!
With roots spanning the country, Delta Circle blends diverse influences and backgrounds to create a unique sound, capturing the heart of both local and regional audiences.
Meet the Band Behind the Music
Delta Circle was co-founded by Earnest Spiva (bass) and Nic Ziter (guitar/vocals), who came together with drummer Kyle Graden and guitarist Joshua “Buck” Owens to form what’s now known as Delta Circle. Though relatively new, the band has already gained impressive traction, with their debut single, “Back and Better,” earning over 46,000 streams in just five weeks. Their debut album Someone Else’s Story, recorded at Rio Grande Studios, is available on all streaming platforms and has been well-received, establishing the group as a rising force in the local music scene.
What sets Delta Circle apart is their unwavering commitment to their craft and their strategic approach to building their brand. “We work hard at taking all the necessary steps to grow our brand and to market our music to push the band beyond the local scene,” they shared. With a goal to reach beyond Savannah and expand their performances to larger festivals and distant venues, Delta Circle has plans to make their mark far beyond Ardsley Park.
A Band of Diverse Roots and Talents
Each member of Delta Circle brings a unique perspective and set of skills to the group. Originally from Burlington, Vermont, Nic Ziter found his musical counterpart in Savannah lifer Earnest Spiva. Drummer Kyle Graden hails from Newark, New Jersey, while Josh Owens, also from Savannah, completes the ensemble. When they’re not performing, the band members enjoy fishing, MMA, golfing, college football, and NASCAR—a well-rounded set of hobbies that keep their creative energies fresh and their bonds strong.
The Story of How They Came Together
Delta Circle’s story began in July 2024 when Kyle and Josh were looking for a bassist to fill in for a show. After being introduced to Nic and Earnest, who were previously with another band, the group clicked immediately. Earnest filled in that night, and after a powerful performance, the four musicians decided to join forces. From there, Delta Circle was born, and the “circle” has only grown tighter as they continue to write and perform together.
What’s Next for Delta Circle?
While Delta Circle continues to captivate audiences with their live shows, they’re already looking forward to 2025. With plans to expand their reach by booking more festivals and out-of-town venues, the band encourages fans to follow them on social media for the latest updates. The upcoming year promises even more high-energy performances and new releases, allowing more fans to experience their infectious sound and energy.
Delta Circle’s performance at the Ardsley Park Fall Festival was a memorable moment for the community, and their journey is only beginning. Whether you’re a fan of their music or just love supporting local talent, keep an eye on this rising band as they make their mark in Savannah and beyond.
