Cats from the Sky!

!!!!Cats from the sky!!!! is my story, which happened one day in my very own backyard early one May morning!  That is how our three little fur-babies came into my life.  It all started with a fish that emerged from the sky and fell into my backyard.  Lucky for my laziness…. I thought Oh, I’ll clean that up tomorrow, on trash day.
Early morning the next day, to my surprise, I saw three little downy bright-eyed fluff balls, eating the fish. After the shock wore off, I never saw 4-week-old kittens, especially in my own backyard. Poor things starved; clearly, the mother was gone, for surely she would not have left the kittens to fend for themselves in the wild. I took it upon myself to take care of them, raise them, and train them. In three days, I transformed them from being feral to being trained like dogs, despite the internet saying cats can't be trained. Well…. I don't take no for an answer.
Romulus was named after the first king of Rome, and he definitely lives up to his name with his big personality. He’s my clingiest cat—an absolute baby when he’s not by my side—and he loves cuddles and snuggles, though only when the other cats aren’t watching. Romulus is also the most dog-like of the bunch, likes his belly scratched, is always full of energy, and eager to play.  He has a peculiar obsession with anything yellow and is especially fond of his little avocado toy.
Anastasia, named after Anastasia Romanov, is the middle child of the three.  She has her own strict schedule for affection—you have to find her when it’s her time.  Most of the day she lounges in bed, but she comes alive when food is around or a camera is pointed her way. Her morning fresh air is a must on any occasion.
Dutchess is named after a movie I love. The best way to describe her is this: if you’ve ever seen Moana, she’s basically the chicken, Heihei. She walks along the banisters, gets tangled in plastic bags, can stare at a blinking red dot for hours, and has even managed to fall off our second-story balcony, thank goodness for nine lives.  When I’m not busy trying to keep her alive, she’s actually our most social cat.  Dutchess loves being around everyone, never misses a conversation, adores cuddles, loves watching me cook, and is always up for a car ride.
