Cheshire, named after the whimsical character from Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland," possesses a personality as vibrant as the story itself. This adventurous kitty is often spotted lounging in sunny patches of light that filter through the trees or on top of furniture in her home.  With a luxurious coat of soft gray and subtle stripes, she stands out against the backdrop of her surroundings, attracting the attention of both neighbors and passersby. 

Life in BackCountry

Living in BackCountry offers Cheshire a unique lifestyle. The blend of nature and community provides her with plenty of opportunities for people-watching. BackCountry's tight-knit community also adds to Cheshire’s charm. We often find Cheshire sitting at her front window, watching the neighborhood kids play as they ride their bikes, and occasionally joining in on the excitement when they run past the house. Her friendly demeanor makes her a familiar face, and many residents look forward to spotting her during their daily commutes around the neighborhood. 

The Purr-fect Neighbor

Cheshire’s friendly nature is complemented by an affection for his human companions. She is known for her gentle purring and comforting presence, which easily draws in both children and adults. We describe her as a "therapy cat" because of how she effortlessly brightens people's days. Whether it’s curling up on a lap during chilly evenings or greeting visitors at the door, Cheshire’s loving disposition never goes unnoticed. Her playful antics are a source of joy for the entire family. Cheshire loves to entertain herself with his collection of toys. She can often be found skittering across the living room floor, expertly batting at strings and feathers as if she’s in a real-life game of hunting. Her curiosity knows no bounds, and it’s not unusual for us to find her nestled into a bag or peeking out from beneath furniture, thoroughly intrigued by whatever mystery lies within.
