If you happen to spot a family of eight strolling through Beach Cliff, chances are you've found the Kidolas.

Whether they're riding bikes through the neighborhood, walking to watch the sunset over Lake Erie, or stopping to chat with neighbors along the way, Jackie and Emmanuel "Manny" Kidola have embraced everything that makes Beach Cliff feel like home. For them, living here is the fulfillment of a dream years in the making.

Long before they moved to Rocky River, Jackie and Manny would drive through Beach Cliff simply to admire its tree-lined streets and beautiful homes. During a newlywed Bible study years ago, Jackie was asked to name her dream place to live. Without hesitation, she answered, "Rocky River."

Today, that dream has become reality.

The Kidolas have called Beach Cliff home for the past two years after moving from Lakewood. When the opportunity to purchase a home in the neighborhood unexpectedly arose, everything seemed to fall into place.

"We couldn't have planned it better ourselves," Jackie says.

Their home is now filled with the joyful energy of their six children: Zuri, Ezra, Zara, identical twins Moses and Ira, and baby Zion.

"We always say we're so rich," Jackie shares. "We have healthy children, a strong family unit, and everything else is extra."

That perspective shapes the way they raise their family. Jackie and Manny intentionally leave room for their children to simply be kids through outdoor adventures, books, sports, imaginative play, and plenty of time together.

Neighborhood walks have become one of the family's favorite traditions. As the children ride bikes and scooters, Jackie and Manny enjoy conversations with neighbors and evenings spent watching sailboats drift across Lake Erie. One afternoon, while walking near the water, one of their twins looked toward the horizon and quietly said, "It looks like heaven."

"It's a moment I'll never forget," Jackie says.

Faith is at the heart of the Kidolas' family. They attend NEO Church in Seven Hills, and Jackie says their faith guides every decision they make.

"Our faith is the foundation of our family."

Their story together began long before Beach Cliff. Born in Tanzania, Manny spent the first 12 years of his life in East Africa before moving to Cleveland. While in college, Jackie traveled to Tanzania three times, volunteering in orphanages and teaching English. Years later, the two met through mutual friends, and their shared connection to Tanzania quickly grew into a relationship built on faith, friendship, and shared values.

Today, they're building more than a family. After nearly 12 years as a registered nurse, Manny now leads ShipLexy Inc., a technology company focused on streamlining lost-and-found recovery and shipping operations, while also operating Property Aesthetics Enterprises, where he combines his passion for remodeling and thoughtful design. Jackie shares his entrepreneurial spirit and dreams of creating beautiful interiors, gardens, and welcoming spaces.

Despite their busy lives, they remain committed to keeping life simple. Date nights often include dinner in Old Rocky River before hurrying home to relieve the babysitter. Sundays are spent worshipping together at NEO Church, and the moments they treasure most are often the ordinary ones.

As their children play together, Jackie sometimes pauses to appreciate what she calls "the best days of our lives."

That gratitude extends to the neighborhood they now call home.

"Everyone we've met has been so welcoming," Jackie says.

From evening walks to conversations with neighbors, the Kidolas have found exactly what they hoped for: a welcoming community where their children can grow up surrounded by friendship, faith, and the simple joys that make Beach Cliff so special.

For the Kidolas, success isn't measured by the size of a home or the businesses they build. It's found in raising a family rooted in faith, gratitude, and love. That's a story that feels right at home in Beach Cliff.
