On July 13, 2026, Rocky River welcomed a piece of railroad history as the legendary Big Boy steam locomotive made its way through town.

Residents gathered along the tracks to experience the incredible sight of one of the largest and most powerful steam locomotives ever built. Families, train enthusiasts, and neighbors came together to capture photos, share the moment, and celebrate this unique piece of history passing through our community.
