Sometimes the best way to strengthen a community is to spend an evening getting to know one another. 

On July 22, residents and business partners from Stroll Belle Haven and Greet Del Ray gathered at Matt & Tony’s in Del Ray for our first-ever joint summer social. Guests enjoyed an evening of conversation, laughter, delicious food, and the chance to connect with neighbors from another nearby community. 

It was exciting to bring together people who share a love for local neighborhoods and the relationships that make them special. Whether meeting someone for the first time or catching up with a familiar face, the evening was a reminder that community grows through simple moments spent together. A special thank-you goes to Matt & Tony’s for graciously hosting us, and to event sponsors Sun Design and Smart Shades Shoppe - both original founding partners of Stroll Belle Haven - whose support helped make the evening possible. 

We hope this is just the beginning. We’d love to create more opportunities for neighbors to connect, whether that’s a Yappy Hour for pets and their people, family yoga, a community fitness challenge, drinks in someone’s backyard, or something we haven’t even thought of yet.
