With more than 20 years in the optical industry, Anja Jakupovic has built her career around one simple philosophy: eyewear should help you see better, look great, and feel like yourself.

Originally from Bosnia, Anja came to the United States as a child and later earned her Opticianry degree and a bachelor’s degree in Public Health from the University of South Florida. In 2017, she opened OPTIK! European Eyewear in Downtown St. Petersburg.

Now, nearly a decade later, Anja is bringing OPTIK!’s distinctive independent eyewear, advanced lens technology, and highly personalized approach to its second location in Belleair Bluffs next to Belleair Market.
