Meet Jenna Harding
Merry Christmas friends and neighbors! My name is Jenna Harding. I am 13 years old and in 8th grade. I live in Kinderton Village with my parents, two younger siblings, and my dog, Charm. I love any thing that has to do with books, rainy days, crafting, or dusty old libraries. And writing :)
Halloween and Thanksgiving are done, and you all know what that means - CHRISTMAS!!! Of course, the day after Halloween I started playing Christmas songs. I have a few favorite holiday traditions. We eat egg casserole and cinnamon rolls for brunch on Christmas morning. My siblings and I open special presents on Christmas Eve (yes, Christmas Eve!). Our family watches ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ together and decorate Christmas cookies. And my favorite tradition is opening matching pajamas from my grandma on Christmas Eve.
As 2025 comes to an end, I think of all the blessings God has given me this year and all the years before. One of the gifts He has given me is playing violin. I am now on my 10th year of playing. I play in my church's orchestra, conducted by my dad. I also play in the Winston-Salem's Youth Symphony program. Both are very fun and challenging.
Another gift God has given me is writing. I love writing songs, poetry, short stories, and articles. I am so excited to use this gift to help with Stroll Magazine. If anyone has anything that they need or want help writing an article for Stroll, I will gladly help you out! It is a joy to be on the Stroll Magazine team.
