Fellowship, Service, and Spring at DWA

The Davie Women’s Auxiliary gathered for its March meeting at Restaurant 101 in beautiful downtown Mocksville. Members drew cards upon arrival to determine seating, giving everyone a chance to mix, mingle, and get to know one another.
Following lunch, members partnered with Cynthia Baldwin, Volunteer Coordinator at Storehouse for Jesus, to deliver donations collected by the group. Household items, clothing, and personal hygiene products—valued at approximately $442—were provided to support local families in need. Members assembled in teams to sort clothes, stocked groceries and assembled layettes for newborns.
In keeping with the DWA’s mission to foster connection among women, members also enjoyed an outing to Dewberry Farm in Kernersville. The group spent the afternoon exploring the farm, admiring the cows and peacocks, browsing the farm store, and of course, tiptoeing through rows of vibrant tulips!
The DWA continues to exemplify the power of service and community engagement, reaffirming its commitment to making Davie County a vibrant and caring place to live.
If you are interested in the wonderful work we are doing, please reach out to a member and join us at a meeting as our guest.  We would love to tell you all about DWA!
