Pink ribbons and bright smiles filled the halls, symbolizing strength, remembrance, and unwavering support for those bravely fighting breast cancer, the survivors who continue to inspire, and the loved ones whose memories remain forever close.

The seminar blended knowledge with emotion, offering education on prevention and early detection while encouraging open conversations and connection. It was an afternoon of learning, laughter, and heartfelt reflection, proof that awareness can be both empowering and deeply personal.

"This is a disease that affects us all in some way," shared Emily Liang, Fitness Instructor and event organizer. "Bermuda Village is such a unique and special community. I created this event to show my love for our residents and to stand beside those who have fought or are currently fighting. Every program I design is meant to uplift, educate, and strengthen this community that means so much to me."

More than just an event, Pink Out Day reminded everyone what makes Bermuda Village truly special, a place where compassion runs deep, connections flourish, and hope shines brightly through every shared moment of care and love.

As autumn deepened, the gorgeous 65-degree November sunshine felt like nature's blessing on the Second Annual Gobble Wobble Walk, where participation doubled from the year before. Twenty-four energetic walkers and four happy pups eagerly stepped out for the morning, completing ½-mile and 1-mile routes that wound through the heart of the village. The sound of cheerful chatter and the occasional burst of laughter carried through the crisp autumn air as participants strolled side by side, pausing to pet the pups proudly trotting at the head of the pack and appreciating the peaceful beauty of the morning.

But the Gobble Wobble was about more than just movement, it was the joyful finale to two weeks of truly meaningful generosity. Leading up to the walk, residents demonstrated their remarkable spirit of service by filling more than four grocery carts to the brim with canned goods, pantry staples, and seasonal treats for Storehouse for Jesus. These contributions would soon be transformed into Thanksgiving meal boxes for families across Davie County, ensuring that households facing hardship could still gather around a warm, comforting holiday meal.

As walkers crossed the finish line, spirits were brighter than ever. Waiting there was a welcoming table set with cups of steaming hot apple cider, the perfect reward. The relaxed camaraderie was as meaningful as the event itself, a reminder that giving back can be joyful, social, and deeply fulfilling.

When winter arrived, a chilly morning couldn't dampen the spirit of giving as residents bundled in coats and scarves for the annual Reindeer Romp, a festive fundraising walk once again benefiting Storehouse for Jesus. With rosy cheeks, warm smiles, and a cheerful holiday buzz in the air, participants came together not only for the joy of movement but also for a mission close to their hearts.

This year's Romp included a special drive to collect hygiene products, items many take for granted, yet mean the world to those facing hardship. Residents are collecting items like soap, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, and other essentials, each donation a small act of kindness that would make a big difference for local families.

As walkers made their way around the community, laughter and light conversation filled the crisp air. The sight was nothing short of inspiring, a community united in generosity, compassion, and holiday spirit. The morning ended with warm drinks, warm hands, and even warmer hearts, knowing that each step taken, and every donated item would help bring comfort, dignity, and hope to someone during the season.
