Mark your calendars for this year’s BRCC Summer Concert Series on July 18th, featuring Bermuda Run’s very own homegrown talent, Catastrophe Journal. Born from a shared passion for music, friendship, and the occasional IPA, Catastrophe Journal has been rehearsing right here in Bermuda Run and performing throughout the Winston-Salem, NC area since late 2020.

In 2022, the band began weaving original songs into their setlists, steadily building a unique repertoire that culminated in the release of their self-titled debut EP, Catastrophe Journal, on May 2 of this year.

Blending rock, pop, and folk influences with a nostalgic mix of hits from the ’70s through the 2000s, Catastrophe Journal promises an energetic and memorable show for music lovers of all tastes. The band features BRCC resident/member Brian McCuiston (bass, keys, vocals), alongside Jerry Chapman (lead vocals, guitar), Paul Hammes (guitar), and Tony Testa (drums).
