In 2021, a compassionate single mother in Maricopa County embarked on a transformative journey by founding Autism Life and Living (ALL), a nonprofit organization committed to bridging critical gaps in support services and housing options for young adults with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD). As her two sons with autism approached adulthood, she recognized the severe deficiencies in available resources and was spurred into action by the lack of viable options for her own children and the troubling statistics portraying a widespread crisis.

 ALL's primary mission revolves around addressing these crucial gaps in support services and housing options for young adults with autism and IDD. Despite the pressing need for immediate measures to alleviate the crisis, external obstacles such as societal mindsets, uninformed policies, and limited funding options hinder the organization's ability to reach and serve those in need.

As part of their ongoing efforts, ALL is gearing up for its 3rd annual autism awareness month fundraiser, the Garden Gala 24, scheduled for April 7, 2024, from 10 AM to 12 PM. Held at the picturesque Scottsdale Plaza, the event promises an outdoor brunch with stunning views, live entertainment, high-value live auctions, a silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle. The chosen theme, Garden Gala, holds a profound symbolism: just as plants require tailored care based on their unique needs to thrive, individuals with autism also need personalized support for their journey toward independence and success.

Funds raised from the Garden Gala will directly contribute to ALL's programs, offering classes on relationship skill building, initiatives promoting community inclusion and human connections, as well as life skills and workforce skill development. These essential tools empower individuals to lead lives free from isolation, exploitation, control, abuse, and homelessness.
