I joined barre3 tentatively when the studio first opened in Biltmore Park Town Square in January. Like so many of us, I felt already overextended between work, family, social engagements and the fitness regimens I already had in place. I wasn’t sure how this new class would fit in my life. Almost six months later, I can confidently say barre3 has filled a hole in my life I didn’t know existed.

Encompassing a unique blend of flexibility, strength, cardio and dynamic stretching, the classes are comprehensive and challenge my body to move in different and meaningful ways. The instructors are warm and engaging, yet still find ways to gently push you to arrive at better versions of yourself.

My favorite part of class is the last 5–10 minutes of mindful meditation, truly a safe space to exhale, reflect and meditate. My kids tell me I’m a better version of myself when I come home, and that’s the biggest testament of all!
