Lifestyle of Fitness

Empowering clients to transform their lives.

Michael Caulo is a board-certified health coach who started Lifestyle of Fitness, a health and fitness company offering personalized coaching and nutrition services, to help busy parents and atheletes become the best version of themselves through remote and in-person performance coaching.

“I want to transform lives through health and empower people in their bodies,” Michael says. Michael is a former Muay Thai Light heavyweight champion who applies what he learned as a fighter to help clients lose weight and build muscle.

“I started as a fighter and coach, and my business evolved after working more in the health and medical fields and deciding to integrate what felt like a massive need — lifestyle fitness,” he says.

Michael knows people have a lot of fitness choices in Western North Carolina, but he says his team of coaches and their collective expertise really set Lifestyle of Fitness apart. “No one else has our team or the experience dynamics that we marry together,” he says. “We have expertise in many disciplines, including martial arts, fitness, nutrition, performance, psychology and human behavior. We also have world-champion athletes.”

Lifestyle of Fitness coaches specialize in long-term strength, performance and vitality programs, particularly for busy parents and athletes. Each exercise routine and meal plan is customized to an individual’s body type, goals and lifestyle. Every client receives practical, actionable and scientifically based training that is accessible. The focus of every customized plan is sustainable healthy habits that achieve real results that last.

Clients rave about Lifestyle of Fitness and about Mike as a personal trainer, saying he is “phenomenal” and “changes lives.” Clients have given him more than 40 5-star Google reviews, touting his personalized approach to fitness and lifestyle management and meal plans. One woman credits Mike for taking her “from couch potato mode to fighter mode.”

Michael loves being a part of the Western North Carolina community and he can relate to being a busy parent who doesn’t want anything to get in the way of family time. He’s the father of three daughters, with a fourth on the way. “You have to create a lifestyle where you take care of yourself,” he says. “We use real-life experience to guide and shape our coaching.”

Some of what Lifestyle of Fitness offers clients includes 100-day fitness plans, retreats, meal plans and numerous tips to make healthier shifts in your daily habits.

“Our methods have been crafted over years, not being forced but rather invited with joyful movement, enjoyable foods and a desire to participate,” he says. “My family loves living this healthy lifestyle through martial arts, hiking and getting outside as much as possible.”
