Biltmore Park Resident Ben Towler Telling It Like It Is
The Towlers at the annual iDaph Turkey Trot in Biltmore Park Town Square!
Q: What’s your fitness routine?
A: While I have not been very diligent with a weekly fitness routine, I get regular exercise through various means, like Burn Boot Camp, beach volleyball at Highland Brewery, riding my bike, occasional yoga and I even did a barre3 class with my wife the other day!
Q: Do you enjoy working out?
A: Like many people with full schedules, it can be a challenge to be consistent at the gym, but I just turned 40 a few weeks ago, so it’s probably time to find my motivation! I have always remained active through activities like volleyball, snowboarding, running and hiking.
Q: Any advice on healthy eating for everyone?
A: I have terrible advice on eating! My kids are 4 and 7, so my diet often consists of chicken nuggets and mac ’n’ cheese.
Q: What made you join Burn?
A: My wife and I joined Burn for various reasons, but honestly, the biggest reason is the child watch. Being able to sign the children up in advance lets my wife and me enjoy a workout together without worrying about what to do with two small kids. The workout schedule offers various times throughout the day from early morning to late afternoon, which gives us great flexibility with our hectic lives. We can often sign up for classes in the few minutes leading up to the scheduled time, which is highly beneficial to us.
Q: What do you love about Burn?
A: I love that I can just walk into the gym and not have to think about what my fitness routine looks like for the day. The programming is already done for you, and the community environment keeps it motivating.
