Habitat for Humanity Service Day
Biltmore Park Neighbors and members of the Rotary Club of Asheville South volunteered their time and skills at New Heights site.
Biltmore Park neighbors left to right: Phillip Coates, Andrew Rosen, Steve and Ann Demeranville, Louise Coates, Helen Coates and Mark Huebschman!
Members of the Rotary Club of Asheville South and Biltmore Park neighbors participated in a service day with Habitat for Humanity in West Asheville. Throughout the day, volunteers took on a wide range of carpentry and painting projects at Habitat's New Heights site.
Phase 1 of the New Heights development, which includes 40 houses, was completed in 2023. Current volunteer efforts are focused on Phase 2, which will add another 60 affordable housing units to the community.
