Daniel Hughes is the son Green Glades resident, Sarah Hughes, and the late Dan Hughes, Jr. Daniel recently married Savanna Richmond Hughes, daughter of Rhonda and Will Hughes, of Charleston, South Carolina. 

The couple met in Mississippi after Savanna, a Clemson graduate, came to Mississippi to attend vet school. Daniel and Savanna share the love of sports, and fittingly, their first date was to an Ole Miss baseball game! Daniel popped the question in Charleston and the couple eloped to Lake Tahoe, California on August 28, 2023. A wedding party celebrating their marriage was held on September 2, 2023, at The Powerhouse in Oxford, Mississippi. Daniel and Savanna are now at home in Oxford with their two dogs and Savanna's pig, Oliver.
