Scout, named after the character from To Kill a Mockingbird and Jesse named after one of the best characters from one of the greatest TV shows, Breaking Bad!

Scout is full of energy and always on the move. She’s known for her incredibly active front paws, which she uses to paw at anyone until she gets the attention and petting she craves. Scout has a playful side that can wear out even the most energetic playmate. Her daily walks, which cover over 5 miles, are a highlight of her day. She has a habit of carrying various items in her mouth, whether it’s a glove, a tennis ball, or even a golf ball she finds during her adventures around Bridlewood. There was even a time when she found a golf ball that a golfer was actively searching for, leading to a memorable encounter that ended with the ball being returned—albeit a bit slobbery.

Scout & Jesses love the Bridlewood community. The lush surroundings and ample walking paths make it the perfect place for Scout & Jesse to explore.

Scout’s enthusiasm for life and her bond with Jesse are evident in their daily routines, which include several treats and some quality time on the bed each night before Scout moves to her own space. 

Scout was brought into the family as a puppy to lift Jesse's spirits after the loss of the Johnson’s Siberian Husky. Jesse, who had fallen into a deep depression, found new joy and companionship in Scout, and the two have been inseparable ever since.
