Superior Fence & Rail: Built the Right Way

We can all agree that home projects like replacing an HVAC system or installing a new fence are rarely something you look forward to.

They come with decisions, disruption, and one question that matters most: who can you trust to do it right?

That is where the right person matters.

And where our neighbor, Tim Rogers, comes in.

Tim grew up in western Jefferson County and has called Hoover home for the past 25 years. As a resident of Green Trails, he is not just serving the community, he is part of it. A graduate of Samford University, his career has taken him through operations, sales, and even flipping houses. Along the way, he gained a deep appreciation for the role home services play in people’s lives, not just in how something looks, but in how it’s done.

“In every project,” Tim says, “there is an opportunity to serve people well.”

In 2022, that belief led him to bring Superior Fence & Rail to central Alabama.

A Foundation Built on Excellence
Superior Fence & Rail has grown into a well-established name, with locations across the country and a strong reputation in the industry.

But for Tim, this was never about joining something big.

“I was looking for a franchise in home services,” he shares. “When I visited the Jacksonville location, I saw how they operated, the systems, the consistency, and the way they treated people. It just felt right.”

Today, Tim oversees three central Alabama territories, bringing that same level of quality and care to homes and businesses throughout our community.

More Than a Fence
Superior Fence & Rail offers all types of residential and commercial fencing and installation, but what truly sets them apart is their focus on the customer experience.

They answer the phone.
They return calls.
They show up when they say they will.

It sounds simple, but it is increasingly rare.

Tim and his team have also invested in the best fence estimating software available, allowing customers to view estimates, sign contracts, and pay invoices online. It creates a seamless and efficient process, but more importantly, it communicates respect for the customer’s time.

“Our focus is always the customer experience,” Tim says. “We want people to feel taken care of from the first call to the final walkthrough.”

Their tagline reflects that commitment: “Where Quality Matters.”

And for them, quality is not just the finished product. It is every step along the way.

Rooted in Community
Tim’s life is deeply woven into Hoover. He and his wife, Debra, have raised their family here. Their two daughters graduated from Hoover High School and now live in Birmingham and their growing family of grandchildren is already bringing new joy to their days.

Spend just a few minutes with Tim, and what stands out is not what he does. It is how he carries himself. There is a steadiness to him. A kindness that is not loud or performative, but consistent. He is the kind of person who listens fully, follows through, and treats people with respect simply because that is who he is.

That same posture shows up in how he leads and how he serves. Tim is actively involved in local charities, supports City of Hoover initiatives, and makes a point to invest in other small businesses. He believes in being a good neighbor in the truest sense, present, engaged, and willing to give back.

A Team That Shares the Vision
Behind Tim is a team that reflects the same values and commitment to doing things the right way.

Pete Kaiser, General Manager, has been with Superior Fence & Rail since the very beginning. Raised in a family of farmers in south Alabama, he brings a strong work ethic and steady, dependable leadership to the business.

After earning a degree in logistics from Auburn University and working with companies like Ryder and Amazon, Pete joined Tim on day one. Today, he lives in Hoover, where he and his wife raised their three children, all graduates of Hoover High School, and plays a critical role in ensuring each project is carried out with consistency, care, and attention to detail.

Tim’s daughter, Maison Rogers, is also part of the team, making this not just a business, but a family investment in the community. A Hoover High School graduate, Maison earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of North Alabama and completed her MBA in 2023. She joined Superior in 2024 as Office Manager and transitioned into a full time sales consultant in 2025. With her strong business background and natural ability to connect with people, she helps guide customers through the process with confidence and ease.

Together, they have created a culture rooted in accountability, service, and genuine care.

Doing It the Right Way
If you ask Tim what advice he has for homeowners, he encourages people to ask the right questions.

Are they insured?
Are they licensed?
Do they pull permits?
How long have they been in business?
What do their customers say?

“Look for a company that cares about their work,” he says. “One that does things the right way.”

Because at the end of the day, a fence is not just a structure. It is something your family lives with. It becomes part of your everyday life.

It should be built with integrity.

Built on Trust
When it comes to your home, the craftmanship matters. But the person behind it matters even more.

It is about knowing the job will be done well.
That it will be handled with care.
That the person you trust will follow through.

That kind of excellence does not come from a name or a process alone. It comes from people.

And when that person is a neighbor, someone who lives here, who understands the community, and who takes pride in doing things the right way, it changes everything.

That is exactly what Tim Rogers brings to every home he serves.
