Brookfield Athletes Help Roswell Lacrosse Make History

When it comes to excellence on and off the field, Brookfield Country Club continues to produce some of Roswell's finest student-athletes. This year, a talented group of Brookfield residents played a key role in helping the Roswell High School Boys Lacrosse team achieve something truly remarkable.
Under the leadership of Coach Bryan Wallace, Director of Lacrosse and Head Community Coach, the Hornets captured their fourth consecutive Georgia State Championship, winning titles in 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026. The team also secured its fourth straight Area Championship and finished the season ranked as the No. 1 team in Georgia for the fourth year in a row. Nationally, Roswell earned a Top-50 ranking and was recognized as one of the top public high school lacrosse programs in the country.
Representing Brookfield Country Club on the Varsity squad were Christian Dralle, Will Beard, Sam Gotham, Aidan Duggan, and Jim Van Ede. JV players Finn Merrell, Sanders Lindvig, Evan Allison, Liam Glover, and Jack Ritchie also contributed to the program's continued success.
The Hornets finished the season undefeated against Georgia competition, with their only loss coming against nationally ranked Ponte Vedra High School from Florida. The Class of 2026 leaves behind an incredible legacy, compiling an impressive 81-9 record during their four-year careers while capturing four state championships.
Several players have also earned opportunities to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. Commitments include Kaden Parla (Jacksonville University), Wyatt Luce (Wingate University), Jackson Hardwick (Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University), Jack Dowdy (Anderson University), Will Culves (Young Harris College), Carson Jazdyk (Lander University), Declan Laverty (Lander University), Blake O'Neal (Jacksonville University), and Linkin Miller (Army West Point).
Coach Wallace also celebrated a milestone season, earning his 250th career victory and being named USA Lacrosse Georgia Boys High School Coach of the Year for the second consecutive year. He credits the program's success to its culture of accountability, competition, character development, and teamwork.
"It's been an honor to work with some of the best student-athletes Roswell Lacrosse has produced," Coach Wallace said. "Capturing a state championship every year they played in high school is something truly remarkable. These young men have continued to build the standard of Roswell Lacrosse, and the future is bright."
Brookfield Country Club has become a pipeline for outstanding lacrosse talent, and this year's championship team is another example of the dedication, hard work, and community spirit that make the neighborhood so special.
