Bill and Donna Bromley
Bill and Donna Bromley moved to North Texas from Southern California eight years ago in search of a place better aligned with their lifestyle, priorities, and conservative values. After Bill spent significant time in Texas for work, the couple quickly realized it was more than a relocation decision, it was a long-term fit. They initially settled in Rowlett but were consistently drawn just across the bridge to Rockwall, attracted by the lake, strong sense of community, thoughtful development, and overall quality of life. In September 2022, they found their home in Buffalo Creek, where they quickly became active and engaged residents.
Bill is a serial entrepreneur with a disciplined entrepreneurial mindset and a work ethic shaped by decades of hands-on operating experience. His career began in construction, where he developed an understanding of project management, leadership, and execution. Over the years, Bill has built, scaled, and exited businesses spanning construction, distribution, hospitality, advertising, media production, real estate, and manufacturing. This operator-first background ultimately became the foundation of his work in mergers and acquisitions.
In 2018, Bill founded Investment Business Brokers (IBB) in Dallas with the mission of reshaping how middle-market business owners approach growth, succession, and exit planning. Rather than focusing solely on transactions, Bill works closely with founders and ownership groups to prepare businesses well in advance of a sale, helping them understand value drivers, mitigate risk, and position their companies for optimal outcomes. Through IBB, he has advised business owners across multiple industries on acquisitions, divestitures, and capital strategies, earning a reputation for practical guidance rooted in real-world experience. Donna, formerly the CFO of a large California real estate firm, now oversees many of the operational and financial functions at IBB and plays an integral role across Bill’s broader portfolio of ventures.
While living in California, the Bromley’s owned a 450-person-occupancy live music venue that also operated as a cocktail and cigar lounge, complete with a full restaurant and bar. The venue featured a wide range of musical styles and attracted diverse audiences, giving the Bromley’s firsthand experience in hospitality, brand development, and community-centered business. That chapter ultimately inspired Bill’s newest venture, The Algiers Club, originally launched in Dallas and expanding to Heath in March 2026.
The Algiers Club Heath is an exclusive, members-only co-working and social club designed for business leaders across all industries and trades. Built on the belief that professional success should be balanced with connection and quality of life, the club blends flexible workspaces with culture and community. Members enjoy professional workspaces, event and private meeting areas, and a refined lounge featuring BYO spirits and cocktail service. With an emphasis on premium craft spirits, education, and elevated mixology, The Algiers Club Heath offers a distinctive environment for collaboration, networking, and meaningful social engagement. Bill and Donna have been married for 25 years and are a blended family with four adult children. While their children live across the country, Bill and Donna are now empty nesters who value time together and enjoy frequent family visits. In addition to their operating businesses, the Bromley’s are partnered in the ownership of an oil field and a related chemical company, reflecting a disciplined investment strategy focused on long-term value, diversification, and durable cash flow.
Despite busy professional schedules, Bill and Donna are well known for their love of hospitality and entertaining. Donna describes the entertaining season as beginning on Memorial Day with a patriotic gathering and extending through the winter holidays. Bill, meanwhile, is the master chef on the grill, having perfected the art of Texas brisket. He serves on the executive board of the Rockwall Republican Men’s Club and on the Heath Parks Board, and together Bill and Donna frequently host meet-and-greet events for local political candidates, civic leaders, and community organizations.
In their free time, Bill and Donna enjoy traveling, from exploring Texas to experiencing cultures abroad. Their travels have taken them to Polynesia, South America, and destinations across the United States. This year, they plan to be in Washington, D.C., to celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary.
The Bromley’s often say that “Texas is infectious,” noting that many family members and friends have followed them to the Metroplex. Bill’s mother and one of their children have recently moved to Rockwall, his brother is arriving this year, and several friends came to visit and decided to stay. Proud to call North Texas home, Bill and Donna continue to invest not only in businesses, but in people, relationships, and institutions that strengthen the community they now consider family.
