GANO Medical
Created by a Family Medicine physician and a vascular surgeon, GANO Medical is the only place to receive hormone therapy and vascular imaging with same-day results.
In a growing field of personalized medicine, GANO Medical stands out as a physician-led clinic focused on direct care and patient relationships. Founded by Dr. Shirin Ganjali and Dr. Ryan Nolte, the practice brings together more than 15 years of combined experience across family medicine and vascular surgery. Their goal is clear: to provide care that is both comprehensive and personal.
GANO Medical offers a wide range of services under one roof. These include perimenopause and menopause care, hormone therapy for women and men, medical weight loss, vascular ultrasound, vein treatments, aesthetic procedures such as neurotoxin and dermal filler, microneedling, and IV therapy. All services are delivered by board-certified physicians in a setting designed to support patient comfort and time.
Dr. Ganjali, a board-certified Family Medicine physician, built her career in women’s health, preventive care, and wellness. Before co-founding the clinic, she served as Regional Medical Director of Women’s Health for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Her work revealed a gap in care. “Perimenopause and menopause are often overlooked or managed with limited expertise,” she said. “Many practices rely on one-size-fits-all protocols.” That experience led her to create a model focused on individualized treatment.
Dr. Nolte, a board-certified Vascular Surgeon, brings experience in vascular disease, including arterial and venous conditions. His background includes complex procedures and minimally invasive techniques. He saw a need to move specialized care into a more accessible setting. “We want patients to receive advanced vascular care without the delays, complexity, or cost of a hospital system,” he said.
Together, they have built a clinic that combines their specialties in a single location. GANO Medical is the only clinic in Northwest Florida where a vascular surgeon and a family medicine physician jointly provide hormone therapy, vascular imaging with same-day results, vein treatments, and wellness services in one setting. The two attribute their success to mindset and effort. “A positive outlook, persistence, creativity, working hard, and helping others along the way has contributed to our success.”
Beyond services, the focus remains on patient experience. “Many of our patients come to us after years of feeling unheard,” Shirin explained. “Being able to change that experience, and their quality of life, is meaningful.” They aim to create an environment where patients feel understood and involved in their care.
The doctors’ approach also responds to challenges in the broader healthcare system. “Physicians are often pressured to move patients through quickly,” Ryan said. “Insurance companies dictate how doctors treat patients.” At GANO Medical, visits are designed to allow time for discussion and planning. “We develop a personalized treatment plan together,” he added, “building a long-lasting relationship that is satisfying for both patients and physicians.”
Shirin and Ryan and their 20 month old son, Jasper, are relative newcomers to the area. They fell in love with the Emerald Coast after visiting multiple times. "We saw this as a great area to raise our son. In addition to building our clinic, we are becoming involved in the community and building meaningful relationships."
