Most homeowners don't spend much time thinking about their trash bins—until they open the lid on a warm summer day.

For Anthony Villasenor, founder of BinBusters, that everyday problem became an opportunity to serve his community.

"Living in the area, I noticed that every household has trash bins, but very few people ever clean them," Anthony said. "Over time they can develop strong odors, attract pests, and accumulate bacteria. Once I learned there were professional companies dedicated to cleaning and sanitizing bins, it immediately made sense."

That realization led Anthony to launch BinBusters, a veteran-owned local business serving Gig Harbor and surrounding communities. BinBusters provides professional trash, recycling, and compost bin cleaning directly at the homeowner's curb using specialized equipment designed specifically for the job.

The system uses high-temperature water, pressure washing, sanitizing agents, and wastewater recovery technology to thoroughly clean bins while preventing contaminated water from entering storm drains.

"Our goal is to make something unpleasant completely hassle-free," Anthony explained. "Most people don't want to spend their weekend scrubbing out a garbage can. We bring the equipment, clean the bins at the curb, and leave them sanitized, deodorized, and ready to use."

Anthony's commitment to service started long before BinBusters. He spent nine years in the United States Marine Corps, where he developed the discipline, leadership, and work ethic that continue to guide him today. After leaving the military, he built a career as a field service engineer, servicing advanced laboratory equipment throughout the region.

While he enjoys his engineering career, entrepreneurship has always been a personal goal. "I've always wanted to build something of my own," Anthony said. "I enjoy solving problems and creating systems that help people. BinBusters gave me the opportunity to do both while serving the community where I live."

When he's not working or growing the business, Anthony enjoys tackling projects around his home, spending time outdoors, and staying active. He is also a proud father to two children, Adrian and Mila.

Adrian enjoys creating videos and exploring new technology, while Mila loves animals, dolls, and spending time with the family's goats.

One of Anthony's favorite hobbies is raising Nigerian Dwarf goats on his property. Caring for them has become a welcome balance to the demands of work and business ownership.

As a local business owner, Anthony takes pride in helping homeowners maintain cleaner, healthier properties.

For Anthony, BinBusters is about more than cleaning garbage cans. It's about providing a practical service that improves everyday life while building relationships within the community he calls home.
