RETURNING TO SERVE on the H ot August Nights Board this year, Russ Sheltra has hosted 2 very popular and highly participated in car shows for several years and as you know, Rob and I “follow” our readers for content most of the time, and we are always excited to cover his car shows and Hot August Nights! 

 

Known respectfully as Northern Nevada’s most impactful car show, “Cruisin’ for the Cure” is a benefit for the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Held on August 4, with a full parking lot of registrants and attendee parking up Virginia Street for 1/2 a mile, this show invites all makes and years, and registration is a taxdeductible $25 per car. 100% of the entry fees go directly to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, plus a 100% match by Bonanza Casino. 

Previously, the Father’s Day “Show-n-Shine” car show boasted record breaking registrations and attendees. If you missed these cool events this year, be sure to keep posted for next year! Next up, is Bonanza Casino’s “Uncorked and On Tap Oktoberfest Beer Dinner!”
