Dr. Sadaf Lodhi, Menopause and Sexual Health Expert
Empowering Women Through Health & Wellness

Dr. Sadaf Lodhi has been a trailblazer in women's health for over two decades. As a practicing OBGYN, sexual health specialist, and intimacy coach, her mission is simple yet profound: to empower women through education and personalized care.
Dr. Lodhi recently launched a concierge medical practice, Femme Vie Health, in New York and a telehealth service for Michigan-based patients, focusing on sexual and menopausal health. She recently opened her office space in Chappaqua.
"My passion lies in helping women live their fullest lives," Dr. Lodhi shares. "I want every woman, regardless of her background, to feel seen, heard, and empowered to take charge of her health."
A proud graduate of the University of Michigan, Dr. Lodhi earned her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University, followed by residency training in gynecology and obstetrics. Adding to her impressive credentials, she holds certifications as a sexual health counselor, educator, and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner. Her advocacy work recently earned her the prestigious 2024 Alumni of the Year title from her alma mater.
Dr. Lodhi's passion for education extends globally through her podcast, Muslim Sex Podcast, which breaks stigmas and makes sexual and menopausal health accessible to all. Additionally, her TEDx talk, "Sexual Education for Physicians: Lessons from a Muslim Gynecologist," showcases her commitment to raising awareness and challenging societal norms.
Beyond her professional accolades, Dr. Lodhi is deeply rooted in her Chappaqua community, where she has lived for 18 years with her husband and three sons. Her eldest son is a freshman at Cornell University's College of Engineering, studying biomedical engineering. Her middle son is in 10th grade at Harvey, and her youngest is in 9th grade at Greeley High School.
"Family is everything," Dr. Lodhi says warmly. Our favorite moments are connecting over meals, exploring new places on trips, or indulging in food-walking tours. We also love enjoying the beauty of Chappaqua’s nature trails. I enjoy being outdoors, going for walks, and exercising. Watching movies together is another favorite pastime, but what truly makes me feel connected is sitting down as a family for a meal and sharing stories about our day." She adds, "Chappaqua has so much to offer, from its scenic walking paths to its delightful bakeries and restaurants—everything is just so good! I enjoy window shopping around town, too. While I don’t watch much TV, I prefer staying active and engaged. My kids are passionate about sports, and I'm always up for attending sports events with them because they love to go."
Dr. Lodhi’s perfect day blends her passions: seeing patients, engaging with the community, and organizing educational events. Whether through her practice, Femme Vie Health, her social media presence (@drsadafobgyn), YouTube channel, and podcast, "The Muslim Sex Podcast," or her work as an author and intimacy coach, Dr. Lodhi is a beacon of knowledge and inspiration for women navigating all stages of life.
As we focus on health and wellness this January, Dr. Lodhi reminds us of the importance of holistic care. "Good health is the foundation of everything," she emphasizes. "It’s a privilege to guide women toward a better understanding of their bodies and to see them thrive.”
