Rotary Club Golf Tournament

On May 2nd, several Chateau Elan residents participated in and volunteered for the Braselton Rotary Club’s 20th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, which raised over $38,800. This year’s proceeds will support the construction of an inclusive playground in downtown Braselton. Additional funds will go toward a variety of impactful causes including: scholarships for high school seniors, local food banks, nonprofit grants, efforts to combat human trafficking and domestic abuse, and other meaningful initiatives throughout the community.
In past years, golf tournament proceeds have supported organizations such as Peace Place, PADV, Eagle Ranch, iServe Ministries (meals), local food banks, The Salvation Army, Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton, and many more.
Chateau Elan residents who are also active members of the Braselton Rotary Club include Ed Walls, Hardy Johnson, Tony Funari, Theresa Huss, Leigh Ann Paugh, Dennis Still, Jim Joedecke, Lee Bryan, Rekha Desai, Mike McGarity, Sue Wyatt, Jennifer Sims, Amy Bell, Michael Athanas, and Jim Edwards.
