Eagle Ranch
Get to Know Your Neighbor: Eagle Ranch
Tucked away on 315 beautiful acres on Union Church Road is one of our community’s key resources for children and families.
Founded in 1985, Eagle Ranch is a healing community that surrounds a child and their family to provide the support they need to work through a crisis. Through its two-year residential program, the Ranch offers children a peaceful, stable environment to help families overcome challenges they have difficulty resolving on their own.
Eagle Ranch provides a Christ-centered home, education, counseling, and spiritual guidance for up to 42 boys and 24 girls. The neighborhood-like campus includes ten homes, a SACS-accredited school, a chapel, equine therapy facilities, a gym and fitness center, and other recreational activities. Additionally, Eagle Ranch works with each child’s family through counseling, training, and support for their parents and siblings – annually, over 200 family members receive these services. The goal is for children to return to families that have the tools needed to maintain healthy relationships and overcome future obstacles.
Local Impact Supported by Community
Eagle Ranch serves more than 40 counties in north Georgia and metro Atlanta. Its mission is simple: to make life better for children and their families, positively impacting communities for the glory of God. Since its founding, the Ranch has been debt-free. It accepts no government funding and relies on contributions from individuals, businesses, community organizations, and private foundations to support its annual budget.
