BraseltonTech's workshop on "Scaling Technology Companies" is the first in the series held at the Braselton Civic Center. Workshops will be held on the 2nd Thursday of each month.
Braselton, GA is now home to a new technology incubator and accelerator thanks to a partnership with the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC). This accelerator, BraseltonTech, will provide a range of resources and support to help new technology companies grow and succeed.
BraseltonTech will offer early-stage technology companies a range of services, including access to mentors, advisors, and industry experts. Startups can also network with other entrepreneurs and industry professionals, and participate in educational workshops and events. BraseltonTech will provide participating startups with funding and investment opportunities to give them the financial support they need to grow and provide investors with opportunities to get in on the ground floor of the next big thing.
BraseltonTech is led by a talented and experienced team of professionals in technology and entrepreneurship that are volunteering their time to invest in the Town of Braselton and our citizens. Founding members include Chris Nedza, ATDC Entrepreneur-in-residence, Mayor Kurt Ward, Rhonda Stites, Marc Carson, Russell Smith, Cindy Green, and Larry Monroe, BraseltonTech is also managed by the Braselton Town Manager, Jennifer Scott.
The partnership with ATDC is a key aspect of the technology accelerator in Braselton. ATDC is the country's oldest technology incubator and accelerator, with a long track record of helping startups succeed. They are part of The Enterprise Innovation Institute at Georgia Tech. ATDC's hundreds of graduates have collectively raised more than $3 billion in venture capital with many notable successes including Airwatch, SalesLoft, Calendly, Greenlight Financial, RoadSync, and AppTega.
BraseltonTech is expected to have a major impact on the local economy by providing a boost to the tech industry in the region and creating new job opportunities to stimulate economic growth. This is especially important in today's economy, where the pandemic has had a major impact on many businesses and industries.
BraseltonTech is expected to attract a wide range of startups, from those in the early stages of development to more established companies looking to expand and grow. This diversity will create a dynamic and vibrant ecosystem, where startups can learn from each other and collaborate to achieve success.
