The Chateau Elan Military Support Foundation wrapped up the 2nd Annual “Cars of Chateau” charity car show at Chateau Elan Hotel and Resort with a sold-out display of over 160 American and European classic cars, exotics, race cars, and military vehicles across many eras.

The weekend began with a 15-car rally From The Driving Club, Road Atlanta to Kaya Winery, and a police escort parade through the Château Élan community. Saturday evening concluded with a special dinner in The Winery Cask room for rally participants and Cars of Château sponsors.

This year, the show took place on October 31st and many of our drivers helped bring in the Halloween spirit with a “trunk or treat” theme.  In addition to the Chateau Elan food and wine venues, there were five food trucks on-site, two live bands, and a silent auction with over 1,200 in attendance. 

The following 10 awards were given to our registered cars:

5. Best Exotic - Ron Cundy - 2019 McLaren Senna

6. Modern Foreign Classic - Ted Rowe - 2019 Lamborghini

7. Vintage Foreign Classic (Before 1999) - Gabriel Thibault- 1979 Marta Simca

8. Modern American Classic (after 2000) - Terry Carrell - 2017 Viper ACR

9. Vintage American Classic - Charles Durand - 1957 Chevy Bel Air Convertible 

10. Best Muscle Car/ Cruise In - James Price - 1965 Ford Mustang GT

This year's show raised over $46K and 100% of proceeds go to support our military veterans and their families.  We are appreciative of our sponsors, patrons, and partnership with the Chateau Elan Hotel—all critical to our success and enable us to fulfill our mission.
