Chateau Elan had an amazing turnout for the 2021 Christmas Tour of Homes!! Seven residents were gracious enough to open their homes and display their meticulously decorated designs for the community to see. 505 tickets were sold for $20 each and a portion of the proceeds from 9 local vendors in the Holiday Shop collectively raised $11,000 to benefit two charities! Kares 4 Kids is a charity that supports local children in need by providing book bags, clothes, food, and Kare Bears to hospitalized children. And Rainbow Village is a local charity in Duluth that works to transform the lives of families experiencing homelessness. Checks were presented to each charity in the amount of $5,500 each.

Thank you Château Elan for your generosity and a huge shout out to over 52 volunteers who worked so hard to make this wonderful tour a success. Resident Cindy Howell coordinated a team of hostesses for each home, and golf cart shuttle drivers for the volunteers. And Leigh Ann Paugh coordinated with 9 fabulous vendors to provide a holiday gift shop that was a great success.
