From Pavers to Paradise on Forest Glen

What began as a basic yard 12 years ago has slowly been transformed into the Jones family’s favorite place to gather. When Taylor and Mandi moved into their Executive Estates home with their children, Emma Kate (now 25) and Miller (now 20), they couldn’t have imagined how much the space would evolve into the retreat it is today—a backdrop for family dinners, time with friends, and lazy afternoons by the pool with their dogs, Chanel and Rocky.

The biggest transformation has been the pool deck. What started as a paved area is now edged with artificial turf and updated stone walkways and stairs. The changes make the space more inviting and far easier to maintain. “The turf is the number one favorite feature,” Mandi says. “So much better than the pavers that were originally there.” The dogs agree—once the shade settles in, they can usually be found stretched out on the turf after a swim.

The gazebo improvements, stone stairways matching the pool stone work, and the stairway lighting, have added both style and function to the space and have given the yard a sense of character and growth. The palm trees that sprout new “babies” are transplanted throughout the property, keeping the landscape in motion.

The Jones family partnered with Lady Landscape to make these changes. “Heidi was wonderful to work with,” Mandi says. “She worked with us through the whole thing diligently. She’s very enthusiastic about the work she does, which we really appreciate.” Routine landscaping helps to keep everything fresh, allowing the family to enjoy the space without the upkeep taking over.

After years of steady improvements, the Joneses now have a backyard that reflects the way they live—comfortable, welcoming, and designed for time together. And if you want to “keep up with Jones” give Lady Landscape a call to help transform your backyard!
