Not enough time in the day? Want to streamline your business? Or maybe you just need some assistance with your personal life? BraseltonTech has answers for you. Their nonprofit initiative uses AI to develop a technology ecosystem that attracts technology companies, investors, and small businesses to Braselton and Northeast Georgia. Their mission is clear: increase tech companies, jobs, and residents in the region by promoting innovation, accessibility, and opportunity.

BraseltonTech partners with the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) headquartered at Georgia Tech and focuses on AI solutions and digital transformation. On Tuesday, June 24th, they hosted an AI workshop at the Braselton Civic Center that welcomed all skill levels to learn how to utilize AI in everyday life and business. Chateau Elan residents and many other locals came out to support the event and learn new skills, demonstrating the growing enthusiasm for digital advancement in our community.

The event featured five hands-on learning stations: Cindy Green taught “New Users with ChatGPT,” Chris Nedza led “Start Using AI in Your Business,” Larry Monroe taught attendees how to “Run Your Own AI,” Russell Smith ran a session on “Rapid Prototyping,” and guest instructor Preston Brown explored “AI Agents.” Larry Monroe also led the event and demonstrated some of the concepts participants would explore by showcasing a presentation fully created using AI tools.

BraseltonTech is led by President Chris Nedza, Vice President Marc Carson, Secretary Jennifer Scott, and board members Larry Monroe, Cindy Green, and Russell Smith (4 of the 5 are Chateau Elan residents). Their next event will be held on Tuesday, August 12th from 6:00–8:00 PM at the Braselton Civic Center. It will feature similar hands-on training as well as new AI agent and integration tools, such as Rubic Management.
