Chateau Elan had an amazing turnout for the 2022 Christmas Tour of Homes! Seven residents were gracious enough to open their homes and display their meticulously decorated designs for the community to see. More than 600 tickets were sold for $25 each, and more than 20 amazing sponsors and a portion of the proceeds from nine local vendors in the Holiday Shop collectively raised $71,032 to benefit two charities. Kares 4 Kids is a charity that supports local children in need by providing book bags, clothes, food, and Kare Bears to hospitalized children. Lighthouse Family Retreats is a faith-based non-profit that exists to strengthen every family living through childhood cancer. LFR hosts restorative retreats and develops helpful resources for the families.

Thank you Château Elan for your generosity and a huge shout out to our fabulous sponsors, vendors, and more than 65 volunteers who worked so hard to make this wonderful tour a success! Resident Cindy Howell served as chairwoman and coordinated a team of hostesses for each home as well as golf cart shuttle drivers for the volunteers. Leigh Ann Paugh and Donna Simmons coordinated with nine spectacular vendors to provide a holiday gift shop that was a great success.
