The Chateau Elan Military Support Foundation held their 3rd annual charity golf tournament on Tuesday, April 26th, at The Legends Golf Club in Chateau Elan. This year, the tournament included 134 total players from the community and sponsors. The event raised nearly $25,000 this year thanks to our sponsors and team participation. In addition to a competitive day of golf and the opportunity to “beat the pro” on hold #7, the event started with the presentation of colors and singing of the national anthem by resident Diana Smith.

• Women’s Closest to the Pin Winner:  Kathy Wright

• Men’s Closest to the Pin Winner: Larry G.

• Women’s Longest Drive Winner: Kelly Price

• Men’s Longest Drive Winner:  Jeff Sample

The Chateau Elan Military Support Foundation is a 501 c3 that supports local military veterans and families in the north Georgia region with basic needs, including housing, food, and issues with PTSD. The foundation supports veterans through a collaborative network of other non-profit organizations in the area, including The PTSD Foundation and Barrow County Veterans Resource Center in Winder.
