Flourish Taproom Hosts Chateau & Sterling for Tennis Spring Season Kickoff!
As the Spring season for tennis approaches, we thought it would be fun to host residents from both Sterling and Chateau to kick it off with a Stroll Tennis Social at Flourish Taproom!
Karen Gratton helped out and led a fabulous team of ladies including Sandy Garner, April Giometti, Anne Hotte, and Lori Martin to decorate with of course a tennis theme and help out at the registration table! They put together beautiful table arrangements, and an amazing balloon Arch, and greeted everyone with a smile and a raffle ticket! Extra tickets were available for purchase with proceeds of $150 going to Special Pops - a tennis enrichment program for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Thanks goes to Kalisa Morton Pierce for finding this Charity to contribute to.
Keith Mosser, the owner of Thyme to Cater, provided a wonderful spread of Hors d’oeuvres including stuffed mushrooms (which seemed to be the crowd favorite!). And Flourish Taproom provided live entertainment and some great prizes including 2 tickets to Comedy Night on Saturday, April 29th, A couple ticket to Dancing, Drinks, and Desserts on Saturday, March 25th, and 2 tickets to Ladies Night Paint & Sip on Tuesday, March 21st.
We invited coaches that work with Chateau Elan and Sterling including Kim O’Kelley, Bao Dang (attended for Travis Threadgill), Bob Clingan, and Trevor Spencer. Each coach was gracious to provide different lessons as prizes at their respective location.
We also invited our Stroll & BeLocal Braselton sponsors to join in on the fun and they brought more giveaways including 2 tickets to the CE Military Car Show on October 8th at the Winery, 6 Chiropractic sessions from Nuspine Chiropractic, $100 gift certificate to Stretch Zone, and a $250 Gift Bag of skin care from Vitality Med Spa. Shakeology and Tennis Balls were also given away as random drawings.
We appreciate everyone coming to the event and making it such fun! We look forward to seeing you on the courts in the Spring!
