The Braselton Rotary Club Grosses Over $33k to Help The Community
On May 5th, several Chateau Elan residents participated in the Braselton Rotary Club's 18th annual charity golf tournament and grossed over $33K for charity. This year's emphasis for donations was organizations applying for Grants to make a difference in our community.
This year with the event on Cinco de Mayo, Mexican food hit the spot! And residents, Jim and Audra Edwards brought some extra fun as sponsors of the margarita tent! They were definitely a big hit!!
Past years' recipients of golf tournament funds have included Peace Place, PADV, Eagle Ranch, iServe Ministries (meals), local food banks, the Salvation Army, NE GA Hospital (Braselton), and many others.
Braselton Rotary members that are also Chateau Elan residents include Ed Walls, Hardy Johnson, Tony Funari, Theresa Huss, Leigh Ann Paugh, Dennis Still, Jim Joedecke, Lee Bryan, Jim Bevis, Rekha Desai, Stacy Lacy, Mike McGarity, Larry Monroe, Sue Wyatt, Michael Athanas, Jim Edwards.
