Home of Hope is a local children’s shelter that provides services to children 0-17 along with their young mothers. They also provide care for homeless girls aging out of the foster care system at the age of 18. They take their guest from homeless, to hopeful, to a home of their own.

 

These past two years have been hard on everyone and the shelter needed help providing these local families with a great Christmas. Thankfully, we live in such an amazing, and giving, community! It took one post to our neighborhood Facebook page and we had neighbors buy over 60 items off their wish lists and donate over $800 to finish the shopping. We were able to provide not only the Christmas items but household needs that they can take with them when they move into a home of their own.
