What influenced you to choose to be a doctor? Always wanted to help others get better and medicine and health always appealed to me.  I was always impressed with the doctors I saw when I was younger and I wanted to be like them.

What made you choose your specialty? Selected orthopedic surgery because it really aligned with my personal outlook.  I want to help people get better by doing something about it. 

Fun fact: Dr. Shah enjoys playing tennis in her free time. She and her family are planning on traveling to New York City for spring break.
