Logan Paugh Begins his Naval Career as a Lieutenant Junior Grade

After graduating from the United States Naval Academy in 2024, Logan embarked on a demanding path that prepared him for one of the Navy’s most specialized assignments. Following graduation, he completed the Navy’s rigorous two-year Nuclear Power Program, earning the technical expertise as a Nuclear Engineer that is required to serve as an officer aboard a nuclear-powered submarine.
Not stopping there, Logan also completed seven weeks of Naval Diving and Salvage Training, adding another layer of specialized skills to his resume. The training prepared him to operate in challenging underwater environments and further strengthened his readiness for service.
Today, Logan is stationed in Hawaii, where he will be serving aboard a submarine in the Pacific Fleet. His journey from Annapolis to the Pacific reflects years of dedication, discipline, and a commitment to serving his country.
As he begins this exciting chapter in Honolulu with his wife Madison and dog Boomer, Logan carries on a proud tradition of naval service while embracing the unique challenges and responsibilities that come with life beneath the sea.
