Hello! We’re Palmer, the wise old German Shepherd, and Lola, the bouncy Cavapoo pup. We may be different in size, age, and energy level, but together we keep the Schaefer household running exactly the way it should—with plenty of love, a little mischief, and constant supervision.

I’m Palmer, the seasoned professional. At nine years old, I take my responsibilities seriously. Watching the neighborhood from the front window? That’s my job. Keeping an eye on Olivia while she plays outside? Also, my job. She’s seven years old, full of energy, and one of my favorite humans. Whether she’s coming home from school, practicing her golf swing, or getting ready for horseback riding, I’m always nearby, making sure everything is exactly as it should be.

Then there’s me—Lola! I’m only one year old, so I’m still figuring things out. Palmer says I have "too much enthusiasm," but I call it living life to the fullest. I love chasing toys, curling up beside Olivia, and convincing everyone that I deserve just one more treat. My favorite place is wherever my family happens to be.

One of our favorite times of day is when Olivia sits with us on the couch. Sometimes we watch the squirrels together, sometimes we nap, and sometimes I, Lola, try to convince Palmer to play while he pretends, he’s far too dignified for puppy games. (He usually gives in.)

Our family loves spending time together—whether they’re riding around the neighborhood in the golf cart, heading to the club, or packing for their annual trip to Florida. We’re always excited when everyone comes home because that means more walks, more cuddles, and more time together.

A house isn’t just walls and furniture. It’s the laughter, the memories, and the people—and pets—who fill it with love. Around here, we’re proud to be part of the Schaefer family, and we wouldn’t trade our forever home—or our favorite girl, Olivia—for anything.
