Saros the Space Lizard: Adventures of a Bearded Dragon with Cosmic Style

Meet Saros, the well-traveled and slightly quirky bearded dragon who belongs to Claire, Seth, Frank, Paul, and Lisa. At just 10 months old, Saros is already making a name for herself with her unique sleeping habits and her curious appetite, for crickets, dandelions, and, oddly enough, green Uno cards.
Saros joined the family as a companion for another beloved bearded dragon named Eclipse. Wanting their names to match, Claire chose “Saros,” a term that refers to a type of eclipse. The cosmic naming theme is just one of the thoughtful touches that make Saros special.
Although she may not be the most energetic pet, Saros has her own ways of keeping things interesting. She often sleeps perched upright against the glass, as if she’s standing at attention. She also has a habit of mistaking laptop screens and game cards for snacks, which has led to a few amusing moments mid-game.
But what the family loves most about Saros is how portable she is. Saros goes everywhere, from car rides to outdoor walks where she enjoys nibbling on fresh-picked wild dandelions. She's certainly not lacking in love or attention. Between weekly cricket feasts and her regular outings, it’s safe to say Saros is one spoiled reptile.
While she may not fetch or roll over, Saros brings joy in her own calm, curious, and slightly strange way—reminding her family that sometimes, the coolest companions come with scales.
