Orthopaedic Associates of Manhasset (OAM) recently opened a 6,000-square-foot, full-service location at 532 New York Avenue in Huntington. The location opened in the Fall of 2022, marking the second major location for OAM. OAM’s first location in Great Neck has provided expert orthopedic care since 1971. 

OAM is a multi-specialty practice devoted to world-class surgical and non-surgical care for all orthopedic needs. The center's physicians specialize in hand and upper extremity, spine, orthopedic trauma, foot and ankle, joint replacement, and sports medicine. 

Some of the physicians at this location are proud longtime or even lifelong Huntington residents, including Drs. Ashley Burlage, Richard D’Agostino, and Jeffrey Richmond. 

“As a lifelong Huntington resident, I am thrilled to join OAM in this beautiful new location,” said Dr. Burlage, the newest physician in the practice. “It is very rewarding to be able to treat patients in the community where you live, especially when it is as vibrant as Huntington.”

Dr. D’Agostino, who serves as the medical director for nearby St. Anthony’s High School, expressed a similar sentiment, “We have been treating Huntington residents for years at our other locations, so we are proud to be able to bring specialized care directly to their backyard.”

Dr. Richmond grew up on the South Shore of Long Island but always had a special interest in the Huntington area, "I grew up on the South Shore, but I used to love walking in Caumsett and having lunch at the Country Kitchen in Cold Spring Harbor- it reminded me of being on vacation far removed from bustling Long Island. I knew I wanted to settle in the area so after completing my training in Manhattan, I jumped at the chance to join OAM in Great Neck and moved to Laurel Hollow so that I could enjoy the area full-time. It was always my goal to open an office closer to home and provide subspecialty care in my own backyard and I am thrilled that we have been able to do so."
