My name is Doug Williams. I grew up in Statesboro, GA, about 1 hour and 15 minutes west of Bluffton, where I attended school from early education through college at GSU.  It is also where I learned my work ethic. I have lived in Bluffton, SC, since 2004. It is a wonderful place to raise a family, which my wife, Katy, and I are doing with our two children, Cohen & Lily. We attend Church of the Cross, and our children attend school there as well. Katy and I love to be outdoors, enjoy time on the soccer fields, at the beach, cooking out with friends, and spending time on the boat. Katy and I are most proud of Cohen & Lily's growing faith. We also have a goldendoodle named Weller, who brings tons of joy to us all with his jovial disposition.

My inspiration to start Ace Roofing Services stemmed from a need in our community for a local roofing company that people could trust, that would do the right thing, and would be around for the long haul to serve current and future needs. We pride ourselves on using the very best materials available in the marketplace and working per the manufacturer's scope of work to achieve warranty longevity. We install UL-3 & UL-4 shingles for very high impact and wind resistance. We also install metal roofs as well as TPO rubber roofing.

I started my career working for a large roofing company in the Upstate of SC, where I was initially in roofing sales. After a short time, I brought the skills and education acquired to Bluffton and began working. I take a lot of pride in the way our team members conduct themselves and the attention to detail that sets us apart.  We offer a 10-year warranty on our labor, and due to our roots in this community, we will be here to see them through. We have been voted the best roofing company in Beaufort County many times, including the last two years running. I feel this accolade sets us apart because the award is voted on by local consumers. It is a direct reflection of how we conduct business. We stand on principles and good morals. One of our mottos is "work hard & do right"; we know the rest will take care of itself.  We have honored many of our less fortunate residents in Beaufort County by doing much-needed repairs at no charge to them. This is a small way for us to give back to the community for everything we have been blessed with.  

Ace Roofing Services offers FREE roof inspections and advice. We will always be honest and look after the owner's best interests. We are not looking to make a customer for the day, but are more interested in building a lasting relationship. Many times, a new roof is not needed, and we provide "roofing tune-ups," which is a phrase my father coined years ago. A tune-up consists of re-sealing fixtures, flashings, ridge caps, exposed nails, and installing new boot collars on pipe jacks. The action will generally gain the customer a few years of roof life unless the roof is totally expired. I am most grateful for the people in our community who gave us a chance in the beginning, which has formed us into what we are today. I love the Stroll Colleton River publication because it is by the residents, for the residents.  It is an honor to be associated with the Colleton River community!
