What began as a holiday decorating venture has blossomed into one of Charleston’s most creative ways to celebrate. Made To Party Charleston grew out of another business started by two friends called The Gilded Pine, a holiday decorating and concierge service specializing in custom bows, wreaths, and garlands. What started as a spontaneous idea quickly turned into a busy season filled with creating Christmas magic for families and businesses across the Lowcountry.

After the holidays, the duo realized they loved working together and wanted to keep the creativity going year-round. They explored traditional event planning and rentals, but neither felt quite right. Instead, they discovered a unique niche—interactive craft experiences that become part of the celebration itself.

That idea became Made To Party Charleston, a mobile craft party experience where the activity is thoughtfully designed around each event’s theme. From sourcing materials to creating a beautiful tablescape, hosting the activity during the event, and handling cleanup afterward, the team manages every detail. The goal is simple: to bring guests together through creativity and create memories that last long after the party ends.

As Daniel Island residents, the founders say the community has greatly influenced their approach. With so many family gatherings, neighborhood celebrations, and community events, they saw an opportunity to offer experiences that bring people together in a fun and meaningful way.

Their signature style is colorful, playful, and full of personality. Each setup is designed to feel immersive and inviting, encouraging guests to dive in and start creating. Popular craft trends currently include lip gloss charms, patch bars, bedazzling, and drip paint parties for kids, while custom shell frames, wine bottle painting, and decoupage are favorites for adults.
